Everywhere I went in my area this morning, every gate seemed to have a little boy hanging around, drenched in colour, with a water gun (called a pichkari!) ready to attack helpless passers by with coloured water. In fact, I fell victim to more than one. Holi is one day where the children have license to be naughty and no-one scolds them. The problem is, because of the danger of being attacked, I couldn't carry my camera safely and get a good picture. Sorry about that.
So instead I'm sharing this recent weekend picture I clicked of a labourer's child playing around on a building site. Don't worry, he's not a child labourer! His parents just like to keep him nearby while they work.
Happy Holi!
